We have various resources to help bring strategy and sanity to the college-bound journey, assisting students to find their ideal colleges and best pricing. Through our assortment of live workshops, recorded webinars, and private sessions, we aim to keep our guidance as affordable and approachable as possible so that all families can benefit.

BOOK A 15-MIN DISCOVERY CALL

These 15-minute calls are for prospective clients to learn more about our services, qualifications, and methods and to ask questions accordingly. Please do not book these calls to seek out expertise that we should more thoroughly and responsibly cover in a private meeting. 

Private One-On-One Sessions

There are two models we use when serving students individually: the “A La Carte” (hourly) model and the “Concierge” model (see below).

"A la Carte" Appointments

Most clients book appointments as desired and pay as they go for their needed time. They also use our range of 3-hour workshops and supplement with private meetings. There are no contracts or obligations.


We can meet via Zoom or in our offices in Lake Wylie, SC, just south of Charlotte, NC. We take (and share with you) comprehensive notes during our sessions and list recommended action items for the student. Then, if and when we talk again, we pull up the notes and pick up where we left off. 


All of our counselors are available for private consulting at our standard rate of $95/hr

Concierge Services

Our concierge package of services provides intensive and ongoing support that lasts through graduation. 

Concierge students have full access to all our services with priority appointment times, increased consultant access and more frequent meetings.  The consultant is involved in every step of the college bound process and personally checks every application and essay before they are submitted. She will also coach her concierge clients to prepare for scholarship and admission interviews and assist with the final appeal/negotiation for the financial package. 


Due to this deep focus, each consultant can only accept a small number of students per graduating class so that she can give them the time and support they will need, especially in the junior and senior years.

Comprehensive Workshops

Throughout the year, we offer various engaging, information-packed workshops that cover all aspects of preparing for and paying for college.

Live workshops via Zoom or In-Person

Our comprehensive and fast-paced workshops are the most cost effective and convenient way to learn a wealth of great information for the college bound journey. Most of our workshops are taught via Zoom webinars on Saturday mornings. However, on certain dates, we will have classes in person, either in Lake Wylie, SC (just south of Charlotte, NC) or at a host location around the country.


Each 3-hour workshop is just $95 per student (and are included for concierge students). We encourage parents to sit in with their students so they can all benefit from this information!

On-Demand Zoom Recorded Workshops

Want all the benefits of a workshop but need it to fit into your schedule? Great! We have you covered.


All of our Zoom workshops have been recorded, edited and uploaded to our Library for easy viewing on your schedule. When you purchase the workshop, we include the necessary workbooks and handouts to follow along.  You’ll also enjoy a $20 discount from the cost of the live event.

Each of our amazing consultants are well qualified to help ideate and edit application essays.  However, they are also meeting with hourly and concierge clients and have less time to devote to essay editing.


Fortunately, for our "a la carte/hourly" clients we have our own in-house professional editor, Deborah Thompson.  She absolutely loves to help students find their own voice, helping elevate their essays to succinctly and accurately reflect who they are.  


Deborah has a rapid turn around and is very efficient.  She charges our standard rate of $95/hour, which is well below the norm for editors who often charge by word count.  Our clients have nothing but rave reviews after working with her.
